Change your New Year look at The Living Room

Two prominent businesses on Edinburgh’s George Street are joining forces to show city women how to boost their confidence by creating a whole new look for 2010.

The Living Room is teaming up with make up artist Michael Becman of Space NK Apothecary for its ‘New Year New Look’ event next week (Thursday 14th January).

Michael will be at The Living Room from 7pm – 8pm to share some tricks of the beauty trade, and guests will be able to try out new looks featured on the Spring/Summer 2010 catwalks while watching demonstrations with bold new lip colours and eye shadows.

Organiser Imogene Deery says: “At the start of the New Year it is a great idea to give your make up bag a clear out and brighten up the cold winter months with a whole new look. Michael will be joining us at The Living Room to demonstrate how making even some small changes to your make up routine can instantly improve your confidence and help you to look your best.”

New Year New Look takes place on Thursday 14th January 2010 from 7pm - 8pm (drinks from 6.30pm). Tickets are £10 per person and guests receive a complimentary glass of bubbly on arrival, as well as being able to take advantage of The Living Room’s fabulous discount of 50% off the total food bill if they decide to eat before or after the event.
