Ontario festival celebrates Elvis on his 75th birthday

On January 8th 2010, Elvis Presley, The King of Rock and Roll will be remembered by all his fans the world over on his 75th Birthday.
To commemorate this landmark event, the 2010 Collingwood Elvis Festival, which takes place in July 2010 and is located in Ontario, Canada will be more spectacular than ever before. The Collingwood Elvis Festival programme will feature more than two dozen Vegas-style shows boasting some of the best Elvis tribute artists in the industry, all competing for the title of Collingwood Elvis Festival Grand Champion. There will also be special 75th birthday tributes to the much loved performer.
Throughout his successful career, Elvis starred in 33 films, made history with his television appearances, and sold over one billion records - more than any other artist! His talent, good looks, and charisma endeared him to millions, as did the humility and human kindness he demonstrated throughout his life. Elvis died at his Memphis home, Graceland, on August 16, 1977.
