House-hunters can now choose from eight different styles of brand new home at Wenlock Square, Taylor Wimpey’s just-launched development in the new, growing community of Ironstone, Shropshire.

The exciting range of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes was unveiled to the first potential buyers at a well-attended special launch event last week (Tuesday 12th January), and customers wishing to find out more can now visit the new Wenlock Square Sales Centre, located in Dawley Road, Lawley, and open daily.

Daniel McGowan, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey North Midlands, says: “The response to our new release of homes at Ironstone has already been extremely positive, with house-hunters expressing particular interest in the wide choice of styles available.

“Our builders at Wenlock Square are intermingling homes that boast traditional local architecture with tasteful contemporary designs. We’ve chosen these popular styles based on feedback from those who purchased homes at our highly popular first phase of the Ironstone development, The Forge.

“Wenlock Square represents a fantastic new opportunity to purchase a new home in Ironstone, and we would urge those seeking good value for money in a sought-after location to come and see us now and ensure they have the pick of the plots.”

The first release of homes at Wenlock Square ranges from superb two-bedroom houses with garages from only £149,995 – perfect for couples, young families or downsizers – to four and five-bedroom detached, family-sized properties starting at just £219,995.

Just one of the homes available is the fabulous five-bedroom ‘Dorridge’ – a delightful, double-fronted, brick-built design classic with large sash windows to the ground and first floors, and attractive dormer windows to the spacious top floor.

The living accommodation comprises a light and airy kitchen/breakfast room with separate utility room, a dining room with French doors to the rear garden, a well-proportioned lounge, a study, and a guest cloakroom off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first floor landing leads to the en-suite master bedroom complete with a lovely enclave which could be used for dressing or for quiet reading, plus two further bedrooms and a main bathroom.

Two double bedrooms and a further shower room can be found on the top floor.

Like all new homes at the development, the ‘Dorridge’ is finished to a high standard specification, including double glazing, central heating and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

Customers can also select from a range of stylish interior-design Options – including flooring, carpets, tiles, kitchen worktops and appliances, bathroom suites and fittings – ensuring their brand new home is completed to their individual specifications before they are handed the keys.

Full details are available by visiting the new Sales Centre at Wenlock Square.

The new village community of Ironstone comprises four distinct neighbourhoods and has been carefully designed to offer a bustling social hub, a combination of contemporary and classical architecture, public open spaces and a host of local amenities, including a supermarket, offices, shops, community facilities and a primary school.

Homes will be well served by existing and new public transport links and commuters will appreciate that the M54 is a short drive from the development, while Telford’s vast array of shopping and leisure opportunities are less than three miles from the development.

To find out more about new homes available at Wenlock Square, visit the Sales Centre in Dawley Road, Arleston, Telford, open seven days a week from 11am to 5pm.
