Last minute Valentine's breaks

Northumbria Coast & Country Cottages has a number of properties still available for those wanting to get away for a last minute romantic Valentine’s break.

In the picturesque seaside village of Alnmouth is Spence Lodge, a recently converted former coach house with two bedrooms and the property retains many of the original features which have been tastefully complemented with modern fixtures and fittings.

There is an open plan living area with wooden floors, widescreen TV, CD/Radio and iPod docking station and there is also Wi-Fi with a week’s stay costing £485.

Also in Alnmouth is Smuggler’s Cottage which is an 18th century stone built property with stunning sea views. It has two bedrooms and has been refurbished with great respect for the original features and has a fully equipped kitchen. A small dog is also welcome. The price for a week’s stay is £500.

The Garden Apartment in Warkworth is a beautiful one bedroom, open studio layout apartment resplendent with top of the range fixtures and fittings and you can also bring your dog. It is situated close to the River Coquet which you can follow to the ruins of Warkworth Castle and is £350 for a weeks stay.
