Tom Sagar and the all-new Suzuki RMX450Z enduro machine will make their competitive debut this weekend, as the duo take part in the first round of the Putoline XC series, held at Old Park Farm in Ashby de la Zouche in Leicestershire.

Riding for the Putoline Suzuki by fasteddyracing.com Enduro Team, Sagar will pilot the new RMX at the first round of the XC series on Sunday, as he prepares for a full assault on both British and World Enduro Championships this season, under the watchful eye of team manager Paul Edmondson.

Sagar commented, "I first slung a leg over the RMX450Z at the bike's press launch at the end of last year and was immediately impressed with it. With the RMX we have a proper enduro bike out of the crate, that gives us an incredibly good base to go racing with. I'm feeling extremely confident for this season and believe I stand a greater chance of success than ever."

Joining Sagar this season, but not riding this weekend, will be team manager Paul Edmondson, who commented, "Naturally the whole team are delighted by the arrival of the new RMX450Z. We've been testing and training with the new bike for just over a month now and have all been really encouraged. While Tom will contest all championships with the new 450, I'll use the new 2010 version of the RM-Z250, which is also proving to be a significant improvement over last years model. The big news for me is that I'll be contesting the entire World Enduro Championship too, which I'm really excited about."

The team will be joined by Lee Edmondson later in the season, as he recovers from an injury sustained at the end of last year. Lee plans to be back for round two of the British Enduro Championship.
