Atlanta Technology hosts free storage workshops
Throughout February, Atlanta Technology, the cloud computing and server & storage virtualisation specialist, is hosting a series of storage-focused workshops, which will provide business owners, IT directors and managers with a detailed insight into how storage costs can be reduced without compromising performance, scalability or security.
The one-hour workshops, which will be hosted by Atlanta’s technical director, Mike Kelson, will provide an overview of common challenges faced by businesses with today’s ever increasing demands on data storage, and will offer details on how cloud computing infrastructures can help overcome this issue.
The storage briefings will be held over breakfast or at lunchtimes in central London, plus webinars are also being hosted for those unable to travel into the city. Every attendee will also be given a free half-day consultancy session in order for Atlanta to provide specific recommendations based on the individual requirements that face their business.
Mike Kelson, technical director, Atlanta Technology said: “Our ‘Food for Thought’ storage briefings will help business owners and IT managers understand a number of ways in which they can overcome their continually increasing storage needs, without having to purchase rafts of new hardware that require resources to manage and maintain. I aim to provide an insight into a smarter way to deploy storage using managed services that remove costly man-management, yet provide all the storage capacity your business would need, moving forward.”
The workshops are taking place on Monday 15th February at 11.30am (webinar), Thursday 18th February at 8.30am and Tuesday 23rd February at 1.00pm. Further dates will be announced over the course of the coming weeks.
