Zurich UK Life launches protection guide for policy holders

Zurich UK Life has launched a new guide to help advisers take customers through the ‘life' of their protection plan.

‘Here to help at every step' is a step-by-step guide to help customers understand what happens when they apply for a plan right through to its commencement and making a claim.

The guide runs through the application and underwriting process including the importance of disclosing accurate personal information from the outset and during the claims process, to ensure the correct level of cover is provided and that claims are paid swiftly.

A series of commonly asked questions covers everything from the types of information that will be asked for during the application process, right through to any additional medical information that may be required.

Customers are also taken through the claims process; told how it will be handled, the information needed to progress a claim as well as its likely duration.

‘Here to help at every stage' forms part of Zurich UK Life's commitment to providing advisers and their customers with clear and accessible information about Zurich UK Life policies. This includes regular communication throughout the application and claims process as well as annual statements throughout the life of the policy.
