Leading niche developer - Sovereign House Fairbriar Homes - is urging buyers to ‘pick up the pace’ and purchase one of its stunning Ferry Village apartments under the house builder’s widely celebrated ‘square deals’ initiative.

A stunning complex of 190 properties, including a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, four-bedroom townhouses and four-bedroom duplex apartments, Ferry Village is a must see for first time buyers and growing families alike.

Designed and built to Sovereign’s high standards, all properties at Ferry Village come with a signature style of their own.  However, none stand out more so than Sovereign’s three ‘square deal’ homes in the form of Plots 31, 35 and 49.

Colin McLachlan, joint managing director of Sovereign House Developments, comments:  “We fully understand how much buyers’ time is invested when moving home, therefore we can appreciate the challenges they face throughout the process.  To make things easier we have put together ‘square deals’ as it’s an incentive that caters to most.”

With each ‘square deal’ package, buyers can expect free carpets throughout their new home, a two year mortgage protection guarantee and a free valuation.

The first of three ‘square deal’ offers is a spacious one-bedroom first-floor apartment – Plot 49, ideal for young professionals and first-time buyers.  Requiring only a £5,000 deposit, this beautifully laid out home can be purchased for only £99,999 under the house-builder’s Living Quarters initiative*.

Living quarters effectively means that buyers pay just 80 percent of the asking price now, whilst owning 100 percent of their new home from the outset.  The remaining 20 percent is deferred for them by Sovereign, with an interest free 10-year loan, meaning buyers in 2010 need not pay the final 20 percent until 2020*.

Moving on to square deal number two, is Plot 31, a two-bedroom second floor apartment available for only £136,000 under Living Quarters and requires a deposit of only £6,800. This well-sized property is ideal for those looking to take their second step up the property ladder.

Finally, there’s ‘square deal’ number three - Plot 35.  A luxurious three-bedroom ground floor apartment, this home boasts a spacious open-plan living area, as well as an elegant en-suite facility in the master bedroom.  This striking generously sized home can be had for a mere £152,000 under Living Quarters, and requires a deposit of only £7,200.

Situated in the Royal Burgh of Renfrew, on the banks of the River Clyde, Sovereign has ensured that its offering at Ferry Village fits in with the development’s existing surrounding community; allowing new residents to feel part of the ‘bigger picture’.

Neighbouring the site is the ever popular Braehead shopping centre.  An ultimately modern shopping experience, this retail hub is one of the West of Scotland’s largest indoor shopping areas, boasting some of the UK’s leading retailers.

Ferry Village is a mere 15 minute drive from Glasgow’s city centre, and is even closer to Paisley town centre and Glasgow International Airport.  The development is also well positioned to provide quick access to Loch Lomond, known locally as ‘the gateway to the Highlands’.

Every aspect of community life at Ferry Village has been carefully considered, from internal specification, to the development’s Clyde View Park.  This vast recreational area provides residents with an eye-catching family space, where they can take full advantage of the park’s cycle paths and play areas.

Whatever living, social or recreational aspirations buyers have, Ferry Village is fully equipped and ready to cater for all.
