New homes for Plympton
A long-awaited development of new homes in Plympton, to be launched this summer by Barratt, is receiving tremendous interest from buyers looking to settle in the area.
Market Quarter offers two, three and four bedroom homes and is located just five miles from Plymouth – making it ideal for commuting.
It is also set to be a winner with families looking to send their children to one of the finest secondary schools in the south west as the development is within the catchment of Hele’s School.
Built on the site of a former cattle market, Barratt is keeping the development true to its origins by incorporating the cattle pens and old stone walls in to the building plans.
“We want to offer the high standard of build and design expected by buyers of Barratt homes, alongside something unique and different - so we are keeping the cattle pens and old walls,” said Barratt Exeter sales manager Mary Daymond.
“And, given the level of interest so far, we are expecting a high demand for the 49 new homes.
“This area really does have everything, from transport links with cities like Plymouth and Exeter to the beaches of Devon and Cornwall - and of course the beauty of Dartmoor National Park. I’m not surprised by the level of interest so far,” said Mary
“Potential buyers will find the homes here are well-designed and competitively priced. Families, in particular, will discover the space they need to spread out and grow into.”
Market Quarter provides further evidence that the property market in the region is recovering ahead of some other parts of the country.
“We are very confident about the prospects of this and other sites in the area,” said Mary. “And by building developments like Market Quarter, we will be bringing new jobs to the region. I can’t wait to show local people how much this delightful development has to offer.”
