Mums eat for free at The Rutland

3rd March 2010 Print

Treat your mum to a delicious free two or three course meal - complete with stunning views of Edinburgh Castle - this Mother’s Day at the award winning Restaurant at The Rutland.

Head chef David Haetzman will serve his trademark modern Scottish cuisine with a Mediterranean touch, and starters on the specially created Mother’s Day menu include cream of cauliflower soup with blue cheese fritter, duck liver parfait with toasted brioche and spiced pineapple relish, or home cured salmon with heritage potato salad and ikura caviar.

Main courses are a choice of roast sirloin of Orkney Gold Beef, breast of corn fed chicken or fillet of Scrabster Hake, and the tempting desserts range from old fashioned apple pie to individual Baked Alaska.

Offer valid between 12 noon and 5pm on Sunday 14 March when a minimum of four people dine from the set menu. Mums will receive their choice of two (£16.95) or three course (£22.50) meal absolutely free (drinks not included). Subject to availability.
