PizzaExpress the latest partner for Barclaycard Freedom

PizzaExpress, the popular high street restaurant , today, 3rd March, is the latest high profile partner to join Barclaycard Freedom - the broadest retail rewards scheme in the UK.

PizzaExpress joins thousands of small and medium size retailers that have already joined the scheme, all of which will offer Reward Money to Barclaycard's eight million customers when the scheme launches in March.

Barclaycard Freedom, the innovative new loyalty scheme announced in January, will be automatically available to eight million Barclaycard cardholders who will earn and redeem Reward Money at point of sale, making it the simplest reward scheme in the country. Reward Money is recorded in pounds and pence, with no vouchers or coupons to save and no points to calculate.

As soon as the scheme launches in March, cardholders will be able to earn Reward Money of one per cent when using their Barclaycard at PizzaExpress. Other national retailers and partners already in the scheme include LA Fitness, YO! Sushi, Firebox.com, Goldsmiths and Nationwide Autocentres. In addition to the one per cent earn rate, PizzaExpress will offer cardholders exclusive rewards - until 15th May, customers who spend £30 will get £5 Reward Money.*

In addition to big brands such as Pizza Express, Barclaycard Freedom offers the concept of a rewards scheme to many small and medium retailers for the first time.
