Family fun with Barratt in Quedgeley

A family fun day is set to mark the official opening of Barratt’s new Kings Green development in Quedgeley on Saturday March 6 from noon.
The wide mix of three, four and five bedroom homes at the development is already generating impressive levels of interest with the first homes already reserved.
Sales director Andrea Pilgrim said the response has been terrific and anyone interested in a move to Kings Green is invited to the family fun day.
“The property market appears to be making a recovery and people are on the lookout for a fresh start in a new home," said Andrea.
“We are really looking forward to welcoming more buyers to the development at the family fun day where they can find out more about what we have to offer."
She said that Barratt’s commitment to style and quality together with schemes to help first time buyers and those moving up the housing ladder have all helped generate early interest in Kings Green.
“We have seven award winning NHBC site managers in the region, including a national runner-up in Bob Burgess, we offer a five year guarantee on fixtures and fittings and Barratt was the only major housebuilder to be given a four star rating in the 2009 HBF Customer Satisfaction Survey."
The first phase at Kings Green includes the four bedroom Woodcote townhouse. It is proving popular with buyers looking for extra space in a contemporary setting. The Woodcote offers an open-plan living/dining area with French windows giving a light and airy feel.
The kitchen has attractive, fitted units with a breakfasting area for informal dining - while the master bedroom benefits from a modern en-suite facility and dressing area. There is also a cloakroom downstairs.
All of the homes at Kings Green benefit from double glazing and energy efficient heating – ensuring maximum comfort and energy savings.
The development is part of a new community in Quedgeley – a small town on the outskirts of Gloucester. Transport links are close-by with easy access to the M5 and the A38. Gloucester train station is less than one mile away – offering links to London, Reading and Bristol. And schools, shops and other local amenities are all within easy reach.
