Twintop awards raise the roof!

It has a three-piece roof, so it’s more than appropriate that the Astra TwinTop now has three pieces of silverware stashed in its cleverly-designed boot!

The stunning coupe-convertible version of the ever-popular Astra wowed the judges in Auto Express’s New Car Honours, where the judges said: “Handsome as a hatch, the Astra looks even more striking as a convertible.

"Affordable to buy and run, it comes with a strong range of engines including a 150bhp diesel and a punchy 200bhp 2.0-litre turbo petrol."

As well as the prestigious Auto Express gong, TwinTop scooped two more accolades in the coveted Diesel Car of the Year Awards.

Judges from the magazine named the TwinTop 1.9CDTi their Best Convertible/Coupe 2006, as well as runner-up in their overall Diesel Car of the Year 2006.
