Lovell announces new home deals in Ayrshire

Homebuyers in Ayrshire looking for a great deal should head for the new Lovell development at The Courtyard, Irvine, on 20 and 21 March when the company is holding a weekend of special offers.
To celebrate the opening of its new-look showhome at the development, in Bank Street in the centre of Irvine, Lovell is offering incentives for all types of homehunters – from first-time buyers to people looking to move up the housing ladder.
On 20 and 21 March, Lovell is giving homebuyers the chance to have both their stamp duty and legal fees paid and their new home carpeted. Alternatively, buyers can purchase
their home through the Lovell Shared Equity Scheme which allows them to pay only 75 per cent of the house price upfront – Lovell lends buyers the remaining 25 per cent, with no interest charged on the loan, or rent to pay.
“Our special offers weekend is a great opportunity to look round the showhome, see the high quality of the finishing and workmanship which distinguish all our homes and find out more about the Shared Equity Scheme and the other incentives we have available on selected plots,” says Lovell sales advisor Frances Gray. The new-look showhome – the Dalmore house style – is a stylish family home with 1,209 sq ft of floor space arranged over three storeys. Properties at The Courtyard offer spacious accommodation and superb design in a sought-after residential area only a short walk from the town’s main shopping centre.
Lovell currently has a great selection of three-bedroom townhouses available all with their own parking. They include the Mackenzie and Tomintoul house styles, both being offered for a Shared Equity price of £131,246 (75 per cent of the full price of £174,995). Lovell also has its Dalmore house style – the same house type as the showhome – which is priced at £184,995. All kitchens come equipped with a range of high-specification integrated Bosch appliances including double oven, hob and cooker hood, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer.
When a home is bought through the Lovell Shared Equity Scheme, homebuyers pay only 75 per cent of the initial sale price up front. Lovell lends them the outstanding 25 per cent with no interest to pay on the loan or rent. The 25 per cent loan sum is repaid after ten years or when the buyer wants to sell or redeem their mortgage – whichever is sooner.
The Courtyard is a great choice for commuters to Kilmarnock or Ayr. Both the M77 and Glasgow Prestwick International Airport are less than 10 miles away while the development is under a mile from Irvine railway station and six miles from Troon ferry port.
Irvine is well served for schools, with two secondary academies as well as plenty of pre-schools and primary schools. It also has excellent leisure facilities, with an ice rink, fitness centre and pool at the Magnum Leisure Centre. The town has an excellent choice of pubs, bars and restaurants.
