Big savings for Leeds buyers looking outside the city centre

Buying an apartment just outside of Leeds instead of in the city centre could save buyers up to £93,000*, when buying with Taylor Wimpey at The Forge in New Farnley.

The range of two bedroom apartments at The Forge are ideal for buyers who want to be close to the action, within a budget. Priced from £114,995 and £122,995 Taylor Wimpey’s Baroque and Concerto apartments really are within the reach of many first time buyers, compared to the average price of £178,335** for an apartment in Leeds city centre.

Money aside and The Forge also comes out on top in the parking stakes. With cheap parking scarce in the city centre and not all apartments coming with their own space, apartment hunters should note that each apartment at The Forge comes with its own allocated parking space.

Bev Russell, Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire sales manager for The Forge, said: “Leeds is a fantastic city to work and socialise in and being just over two miles outside of the city centre means that you can enjoy the highlights without having to pay the high prices.

“New Farnley is a great location for those who work in Leeds or one of the surrounding towns, as well as those who enjoy shopping, site seeing, eating out or nights out. A bus or car ride into the centre of Leeds takes less than ten miles, which is ideal.”

Both apartments have two bedrooms, a lounge, bathroom and kitchen with dining area. The fitted kitchen is perfect for preparing meals and comes complete with an integral oven, hob and extractor fan as well as a washer/dryer. The Baroque also has an en-suite in the master bedroom.

The Forge is ideal within easy access of the M1, M62 and M621 and Leeds and Bradford airport. Leeds City train station is also close at hand.

For more information about the apartments at The Forge, visit the sales information centre and show homes on Whitehall Road, New Farnley, Leeds, which is open Thursday to Monday, from 11am to 5pm.
