Architas launches two multi-manager protector funds

Architas Multi-Manager Limited ("Architas"), part of the global AXA Group, announces the launch of two diversified multi-manager protector funds to meet investor demand for funds that aim to provide capital growth with a degree of downside protection.

The Architas Multi-Manager Diversified Protector 70 Fund ("Protector 70") aims to protect at least 70 per cent of its highest ever share price.

The Architas Multi-Manager Diversified Protector 80 Fund (Protector 80") aims to protect at least 80 per cent of its highest ever share price.

Both funds are launched to cater to long-term investors with an investment horizon of at least five to ten years and invest in actively managed blend of assets.

The investment is an OIEC and performance is linked to a basket of funds rather than indices, using Architas' expertise in structuring and monitoring fund of funds portfolios.

The funds were created following strong consumer and IFA feed back to research carried out by AXA Wealth, showing rising interest in investments that have the potential to offer better than cash returns but with an element of market protection. The funds will appeal to a large sector of consumers who want to re-invest in the market but are wary of doing so in light of recent volatility and are looking for an element of protection.

The funds are available by direct investment and the AXA Wealth sales channels. This includes investment through individual pension and investment bond products provided by AXA Winterthur Wealth Management, the AXA Elevate wrap platform, and the AXA Wealth International product range.
