Twilight adventures with TrekAmerica

16th March 2010 Print

With the eagerly anticipated release of Twilight’s New Moon on DVD on Monday and the hotly awaited Twilight Saga: Eclipse being released in cinemas in July, this is the last chance for travellers to book their own Twilight adventure with TrekAmerica.

During the 12-day itinerary, Twilight fans will visit many of the locations made famous by the books and films in both Oregon and Washington States.

The small town of St Helen’s is where much of the movie is filmed – and Twi-hard fans will get the opportunity to visit Petite Jolie (the dress shop where Bella and her friends shopped), the Bloated Toad (the restaurant where Bella and Edward dined) and the Thunderbird and Whale (the bookshop where Bella wandered off).

When the sun sets, travellers can take a nocturnal kayak tour of Scappoose Bay and uncover the secrets that are lurking.

A private tour of the Twilight towns of Forks and La Push is also included in the itinerary, visiting the Forks Welcome Sign, Forks Community Hospital, Police Department, the Cullen and Swan homes, Second Beach and Quileute Indian Reservation.

There are a limited number of spaces left on the June 26th departure at a cost of £699 per person, excluding flights.

The price includes Forks and La Push Twilight tour, sightseeing tours of various movie locations, the nocturnal kayak tour, Puget Sound ferry ride, entrance to all national parks and monuments as per the itinerary, the services of a TrekAmerica tour leader, transport by private adventure vehicle and 11 nights camping fees and equipment.
