BID Leamington to launch shopping guide

BID Leamington is to launch its second comprehensive guide to retail and leisure businesses in Royal Leamington Spa. The first shopping guide, which was launched last June, has been highly successful in showcasing the broad range of shops on offer.

The second guide has been improved with additional pages, a stunning turquoise cover and will benefit from a print run of 20,000 copies. The guide, which is aimed at targeting people to shop, eat and drink, is yet another effective initiative from BID Leamington in attracting new customers and driving footfall to the town.

The free 116 page guide will be available from 31 March to capitalise on the Easter holidays encouraging families to visit. Once again, the guide is being distributed via a number of venues in the town and region including Tourist Information Centres, shops, hotels, attractions, train stations and airports. Those in the BID area are helping to increase distribution by stocking copies throughout their stores nationwide. The guide will also be available as an e-brochure which people can download via as well as being able to request a copy online.

The definitive guide lists all retail and leisure businesses from fashion retailers to financial services and from restaurants to recruitment companies within the BID area.

Businesses are listed alphabetically with category listings at the back. Each levy payer was entitled to 50 words about their business including a photo, address and contact details. The guide also includes a list of car-parks and a detailed map of the town showing the main streets, facilities, shopping centres and tourist attractions.

The first guide was extremely popular receiving many compliments from both visitors and industry professionals. Some have claimed that no other town has such a comprehensive and complete guide. Measuring the size of a large wallet, the guide has been produced so that it can be easily carried.
