Are you VXR enough? Here’s your chance to find out

With the new VXR8 just around the corner and the Corsa VXR already tempting buyers into Vauxhall showrooms, the range of high-performance Vauxhalls is already on track for success.

And now they’re ‘on track’ for a different reason. From the start of July at four legendary circuits across the country, fans can take part in half-day track sessions driving VXR models including the new VXR8 and Corsa VXR models.

For a one-off payment of £95, enthusiasts can book a place at the VXR event of their choice, where they’ll get the chance to participate in 90 minutes of on-track action with fully qualified instructors.

Drivers will also learn a few tricks of the trade from a stunt driver, including how to ‘park’ a car much faster than normal using the handbrake!

What’s more, when the attendees are so smitten with the car that they then decide to buy a Vauxhall, the £95 will be refunded against the purchase price of their new car, providing they order it before the end of this year.

The trackdays all take place in July, and start on the weekend of 5-6 at Donington Park, Derbyshire. Further events take place at Oulton Park, Cheshire, on July 11-12, Brands Hatch, Kent on July 18-19 and Thruxton, Hants, on July 25-26.

Places can be booked directly via the dedicated VXR website at vxr.co.uk , but you’ll have to hurry, as they are strictly limited. All drivers must be 21 years or over, and hold a full UK driving licence.
