The stunning brunette - who was once one of the world's highest-earning supermodels, working for a host of designers including Chanel, Christian Dior, Missoni and Versace - is proud 20-year-old Amber has followed in her footsteps but can't quite believe they sometimes work together on shoots.

The 45-year-old beauty - who has two other daughters, Saffron, 18, and 15-year-old Tallulah, with husband Simon Le Bon - said: "I don't worry about her getting into the modelling industry because she has the right personality to deal with it - she's very comfortable in her own skin, knows how strong you have to be emotionally and she really enjoys what she's doing.

"We've done a few jobs together and that is strange."

While she is still in demand as a model, Yasmin - who has created a range of clothes, YLB, for British high street store Wallis - admits she gets frustrated she is congratulated on her success in spite of her age.

She told Stylist magazine: "It's a shame. It doesn't happen to men. Being judged by appearance is part and parcel of society but I think we have to buck the trend and create a new way of thinking. That's what I got into designing for in the first place - to break down barriers and change ideas."
