Champions announce 2008 partners

GMAC, a global, diversified financial services company specialising in auto finance and home loans, has been confirmed as VX Racing’s principal sponsor, following on from its support role last year.
“We’re delighted to welcome GMAC as an even more significant partner to VX Racing and look forward to a beneficial working relationship throughout the 2008 season,” said Keith Michaels, Vauxhall’s Marketing Operations Manager.
The Luton-based manufacturer has also signed primary deals with Maxim, Mobil 1, Origin Technologies (Pogo GPS), Pole Position Licensing, RS Components, Supagard and Wiley X.
RS Components, Europe’s leading distributor of electronic components, is entering its fourth year with the multiple touring car champions as is Origin (Pogo GPS), a manufacturer of advanced speed camera location devices and satellite navigation products.
VX Racing will also continue benefiting from the support of one of the leading car care product manufacturers, Supagard, as well as premier oil brand, Mobil 1. In addition, appropriately named Pole Position Licensing who specialise in men’s fragrance and limited edition premium watches, is supporting VX Racing in 2008.
To broaden its horizon and its association with the high-adrenalin and dynamic world of motorsport, the eyewear specialist Wiley X has chosen champions VX Racing to promote their eyewear range. The team has also concluded an agreement with the international men’s lifestyle magazine, Maxim.
VX Racing’s official technical partners for the 2008 season are ASNU, Autodesk, Eibach, Excelerate, ITG, Meteogroup, MSC Software, and NGK. The team’s official suppliers are AMD (Official IT supplier), Azzuri, MOMO, Recardo and Sonax.
“We are delighted to have such a strong and wide portfolio of partners for 2008,” said Michaels. “Each will contribute to the team in its own unique way and we are confident of great benefit for all parties. We look forward to working with each one of them to build on our combined strengths to help make 2008 yet another successful season.”
