VX Racing driver heads-up charity support for BLISS

The 20-year-old driver from Kingston, Surrey, who completed VX Racing’s 2008 driver line-up in January, has been confirmed as the new face of the London-based charity.
BLISS has campaigned since 2005 to support parents and families of premature babies with free support and information as well as campaign and promote for improvements, developments and innovations in neonatal. Tom seemed like the obvious choice to raise awareness for this common issue, with which thousands of parents are faced each year.
“We are thrilled that Tom has chosen to support BLISS this year, and help to ensure that babies born sick or premature in the UK get the best possible start to life. We wish him the very best of luck for the new season,” said Katie Simmons, National Projects Manager of BLISS.
“Two people in my team have had premature babies who needed special care in a neonatal unit, so I know how difficult it is for parents and I was delighted to offer my help,” said Tom. “I am very happy to be involved and to represent such a great charity. I will be looking to raise as much money as possible and will do everything I can to support BLISS with as many aspects of the work as possible.”
Tom will be working with BLISS to raise money through a series of events and trackside activities throughout the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship season. The BLISS logo will also be featured on his team clothing.
