Hailsham in East Sussex will become an egg-stra special place for chocolate-lovers next weekend, with a fun Easter egg hunt at Taylor Wimpey’s The Grange development.

Visitors are invited to turn into sweet-toothed sleuths and seek out the eggs, which have been concealed around the superb showhome and gardens at The Grange development in Lundy Walk, off Hempstead Road.

Open from 11am until 4pm on Saturday 3rd April, dozens of chocolate eggs will be on offer, and it’s a case of finders keepers for those lucky enough to track down a mouth-watering treat.

Better still, among the lip-smacking chocolate prizes are probably the highest value Easter eggs ever made – Golden Eggs which, if found, can be exchanged for one of a range of sensational gifts when reserving a brand new home at the development over the weekend, including free carpets and flooring, free home appliances – or a massive £5,000 off selected plots.

Offering spacious accommodation – and plenty of hiding places for chocolate – the beautifully decorated three-bedroom ‘Primrose’ and four-bedroom ‘Poppy’ showhomes provide an exquisite example of what homebuyers can achieve using a brand new home as a blank canvas.

And customers coming along will have a superb spring collection of styles to choose from, including the newly released two-bedroom ‘Violet’, ‘Daffodil’ and ‘Orchid’ houses priced from only £174,995, the spacious four-bedroom ‘Snowdrop’, ‘Foxglove’, ‘Buttercup’ properties, available from just £269,995, and the magnificent five-bedroom ‘Bluebell’ detached house, priced £324,995.

Situated within 76 acres of farmland on the western edge of Hailsham, and just over a mile from the shops and amenities of the historic town centre, The Grange enjoys an idyllic semi-rural location bordered to the west by the beautiful Sussex countryside.

For walkers and ramblers there is a wealth of woodland and riverside walks to explore, while safe cycling is permitted along the Cuckoo Trail, the former route of the dismantled branch railway line.

Commuters will appreciate that the A22 provides quick links to Eastbourne and the M25, while Polegate Station is only three miles away, offering regular services to London Victoria, Ashford International, Brighton and Eastbourne.

The Easter Egg Hunt will be free to enter and takes place on Saturday 3rd April between 11am and 4pm at the showhomes in Lundy Walk, off Hempstead Road, Hailsham.

The development is also open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm.
