Easter treats for house hunters at Coopers Edge

31st March 2010 Print

Buyers are destined for bright new beginnings when they visit David Wilson Homes at Coopers Edge this Easter – thanks to the launch of a second show home at the development.

Coopers Edge, in Brockworth, is a development offering 43 two, three and four bedroom homes. And its latest addition looks set to capture the hearts of house hunters. “We are delighted to have launched the new Trent show home alongside the Jesmond,” said sales director, Bernice McKenna.

“At Coopers Edge, we are proud to be able to offer style and substance – and I know the team here are excited about these beautiful new homes. We are all keen to show them off to potential buyers during Easter and beyond and talk about the benefits of the new Trent,’’ said Bernice.

The Trent is a four bedroom home set over three floors and providing flexible townhouse accommodation.

“There is a stylish fully fitted kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with French windows leading out to the garden,’’ said Bernice. “There are three bedrooms and family bathroom on the first floor and impressive master bedroom with ensuite facilities and a dressing room on the second floor.’’

Coopers Edge is one of the region’s most exciting destinations for homes, jobs and leisure. The David Wilson Homes development is already particularly popular with locals and those wishing to relocate in the area.

The development has the striking Nut Hill as a backdrop – right at the foot of the Cotswolds. Close by are popular primary and secondary schools – and the nearby thriving business park offers locally based employment opportunities with 25 leading companies.

The surroundings – teamed with easy access to the M5 and local towns of Gloucester and Cheltenham – mean commuters can relax in the beautiful setting of their new home while looking forward to a hassle-free journey into work.

For first time buyers, David Wilson Homes offers the government-backed HomeBuy Direct on selected properties. The scheme gives homebuyers the chance to move in for only 70 per cent of the purchase price.

David Wilson South West will match the Government’s funding pound for pound in the venture to provide the 30 per cent equity loan to the homebuyer. The buyer finances the remaining 70 per cent through a mortgage and may need a five per cent deposit.

Current availability at Coopers Edge includes a range of two, three and four bedroom homes. The two bedroom Newport apartments offer modern living from £135,000, the four bedroom, three storey Trent townhouse design boasts contemporary family living from £199,950. Also available are the three storey Beaulieu townhouse featuring four double bedrooms from £197,950 and the spacious four bedroom Jesmond design from £229,950.
