Menzies Welcombe Hotel retains prestigious AA rating

The Menzies Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club in Stratford-upon-Avon has yet again retained its prestigious AA rating of Four Stars in relation to its accommodation with a merit score of 83%. In addition, Head Chef, Robin Smith has retained the 2 AA Rosette in the hotel’s Trevelyan Restaurant.

The AA inspector was quoted as saying “In terms of AA quality standards, the Menzies Welcombe Hotel Spa & Golf Club remains appropriately rated as a Four Star Hotel with an improved & impressive AA merit score of 83%. The hotel once again retains its 2 AA Rosette in the Trevelyan Restaurant. The hotel has a fantastic team who clearly work in harmony in order to offer very high levels of service & hospitality”.

Each year the Menzies Welcombe Hotel is inspected and rated under a set of common quality standards agreed by the AA and VisitBritain. The ratings give visitors the confidence that establishments meet their required standards. Ratings for accommodation range from 1 – 5 stars. The long-established Rosette scheme recognises successful cooking at different levels across the UK. AA Rosettes are solely awarded by AA Hotel and Restaurant Inspectors. External influences from hotels, restaurants or other guides are not taken into account when awarding Rosettes.
