New Forest takes centre stage

12th April 2010 Print

The New Forest National Park in Hampshire took centre stage on the popular BBC TV show Have I got News for You on Thursday night.

In a tongue-in-cheek item about places with funny names, Sandy Balls holiday-park was highlighted with its entire 30 second TV advertisement being screened. The advert highlights the unique scenery of the New Forest with spectacular ariel views of the forest with its famous resident ponies (click her to see the advertisement).

Comments Anthony Climpson, OBE, Tourism Manager for The New Forest, “It was great that the BBC chose to screen the entire 30 second advertisement. Such publicity is impossible to buy and we hope that the millions of viewers that regularly watch the show might be tempted to come and see the New Forest for themselves.”
