100 Vauxhall employees descended on Namco Bowling Station at the Galaxy Centre, Luton on Thursday 8 April for a charitable event for Vauxhall’s chosen charity for 2010, Help for Heroes.

Namco kindly donated the use of the bowling alley and a grand total of £1,000 was raised on the night.  Fundraising initiatives included a raffle of Vauxhall merchandise and bowling tickets.  On the evening John Bailey was the winning top scorer with 329 points over the two games played.  He helped his team to win the match and medals and a trophy were proudly accepted.

Maria Hedges, Events & Sales Manager, Namco said “We have enjoyed working with Vauxhall for a number of years raising money for a host of charities and feel this year is no exception !!!”

Speaking on the decision to support Help for Heroes Duncan Aldred, the Managing Director at Vauxhall, said “We all acknowledge the great sacrifices made by the armed forces on our behalf and this association gives us the opportunity to show our support, for men and women suffering from conflicts around the world.”
