Culinary indulgence at luxury Seychelles eco retreat

Always looking to innovate and enhance the guest experience, the Seychelles’ leading luxury eco resort Frégate Island Private has introduced the ultimate in personalised culinary indulgence, allowing guests to make reservations for the restaurant to come to them.

Customising one of its electric buggies with the inventive addition of a hob and oven, ice box, and work surfaces, the resort has created a true ‘rolling kitchen’, reinventing room service as an exclusive à la minute culinary experience.

Manned by a private chef and butler, the rolling kitchen is able to deliver and serve high quality, freshly prepared hot meals in the comfort of guests’ private villas, or in a variety of stunning locations around the island. The chef can even hand-pick fresh tropical produce from the island’s plantation en route, ensuring the shortest possible time between picking and plating.

Prices for direct bookings start from €1,300 (approx. GB£1,105 at today’s exchange rate) per person per night, based on two sharing for a minimum three night stay on a full board basis, excluding tax and service.
