British movie-making site Moviestorm.co.uk has launched a new 3D movie maker which will open up the world of 3D movie production to a mass audience of aspiring digital film makers.

Moviestorm.co.uk which provides a free software platform for amateurs to write, produce, direct and edit their own digitally animated movies, has added the 3D feature so that anyone can create their own masterpiece like the big studio blockbusters such as Avatar or Alice in Wonderland.

With free reign over hundreds of movie props, over 60 pre-built sets and dozens of highly customisable characters, the movie-making options are endless. Moviestorm users have already created rock music videos, satirical comedies, horror, thrillers and short animated comedies.

Now turning a 2D movie into a three dimensional visual work of art is simple using Moviestorm – just switch on the 3D button during the rendering process, and your movie automatically becomes an in-your-face epic! Once the movie is complete users then can then share their masterpiece with friends and family via You Tube, and viewed with a pair of 3D glasses for maximum impact.
