Crest Nicholson has released 56 apartments at Park Central in Birmingham city centre, with this latest collection of new homes including exclusive properties with views across eight acres of parkland at the heart of the award winning development.

As a result of recent sales levels at Park Central, Crest Nicholson has taken the bold move of releasing the Liberty phase to the regional marketplace. Featuring some of the most prestigious apartments which will be delivered at the innovative development, the properties are situated in a heightened parkside position, with many overlooking the landscaped public open space at the heart of the scheme.

Jo Parker, sales manager at Park Central, said: “It is incredibly exciting to see this latest phase of apartments being completed, and we have thoroughly enjoyed getting everything in place so we are ready to release this tranche of new homes to the market. The fact that we are forging ahead at Park Central when competing developers are slowing down is reflection of the success of the scheme, and an indication of our confidence in the long term viability of apartment living in Birmingham city centre.

“There is no denying the property industry has been experiencing challenging times. At Park Central we reacted very quickly to these circumstances and introduced government assistance schemes to help put home-ownership within the reach of today’s potential purchasers. By responding so swiftly in this way, and by understanding our target market and providing quality new homes, we have maintained a strong flow of sales – particularly among first time buyers – and we have continued to build a community here at Park Central.”

The new collection of apartments ranges in size from 437 sq ft to 1032 sq ft and feature the high internal specification seen elsewhere at Park Central. Individually-designed kitchens complete with stainless steel oven, hob and extractor, and integrated appliances. Contemporary bathrooms feature Hansgrohe mixer taps and stylish Porcelanosa tiling, along with Kaldewai enamelled steel baths and chrome towel rails.

Jo added: “Indications show that first time buyers are returning to the market and demand seems likely to continue to rise as nationwide, new housing stock is limited; it is therefore vital that Crest Nicholson stays one step ahead of the competition. At Park Central, we are committed to helping buyers find the right new home for them; and this latest selection of apartments boosts the provision of new homes at the development and increases the choice available for purchasers. With the government-backed HomeBuy Direct also available to eligible buyers, we hope househunters will recognise that Crest Nicholson is serious when it comes to helping then secure the home of their dreams.”

A selection of contemporary one bedroom apartments is currently available at Park Central priced from just £90,000, or just £63,000 using HomeBuy Direct. Two bedroom apartments are available from £146,500 or £102,550 with HomeBuy Direct.

HomeBuy Direct is currently available at Park Central for eligible purchasers earning under £60,000. Buyers taking advantage of Homebuy pay for 70 per cent of the property whilst effectively owning 100 per cent, as the Government and Crest Nicholson cover up to 15 per cent each or 30 per cent in total of the property price with a loan.

Park Central is the result of an innovative partnership between Crest Nicholson and joint landowners Birmingham City Council and Optima Community Association. The marketing suite is open daily from 10am to 5pm and is located at Park Central, 2 Mason Way, Birmingham B15 2EY.
