Chevrolet introduces 3 years fixed price servicing for just £145
Chevrolet has revitalised its consumer benefits package with the launch of a new Fixed Price Servicing offer; the Chevrolet Plus card and other benefits, all of which replace the free service offer on existing products with immediate effect."Consumers are much more canny these days. A little like the travel industry, where package holidays have been unbundled into their individual elements, we have to do something similar and move with the times," said Rory Harvey, sales Director of Chevrolet UK. "Customers are looking for us to provide value in other ways so we have developed a specific Fixed Price Servicing offer and funded other elements in the purchase experience, like ‘3 and Easy’, that provide much improved overall value for the consumer."
Fixed price servicing for three years, just £145
Chevrolet is underpinned by offering value for money in both purchase price and whole-life cost of ownership. It now offers Fixed Price Servicing for £145 inc VAT, covering three-years/30,000 miles and representing around £500 worth of value to the customer. They will also continue to receive three-years’ AA Total recovery free of charge, a three-year warranty and six-years’ anti-perforation corrosion warranty.
An upgrade on Fixed Price Servicing is available to fleet customers. For £445 inc VAT, mileage is extended to 60,000 miles in three-years.
‘3 and Easy’ now established
The new service and support package runs alongside Chevrolet’s really simple ‘3 and Easy’ purchase plan where the purchase price is split into three equal portions. The customer pays the first portion on delivery, the second at the end of the first year and the third at the end of the second year and best of all, with no interest or down payment required.
"Our ‘3 and Easy’ pilot programme proved extremely desirable with our customers. We have now extended that to the majority of cars in our range and it is now accounting for over 50% of Chevrolet retail sales. We believe that coupling the benefits of ‘3 and Easy’ with fixed low price servicing is a no-hassle approach to purchasing and running a new car in the 21st century," added Harvey.
The new ‘Chevrolet Plus’ card
The Fixed Price Servicing programme is managed with the new personalised ‘Chevrolet Plus’ card. The new card acts like a loyalty card and will track the customer’s Chevrolet account and service history. In future, it will entitle the customer to special member offers and benefits. One major current benefit of the card is that should the customer wish to sell or trade in their car, they can pass on what remains of the Fixed Price Servicing, enhancing the re-sale offering. It is also proof to the new owner of regular servicing, that the car has been looked after by Chevrolet and that only genuine Chevrolet parts and accessories have been used (Fixed Price Servicing can only be carried out by a Chevrolet Authorised repairer in the UK).
