Winter service check for Chevrolet drivers

Chevrolet owners throughout the country can now put their cars through a series of while you wait winter checks on important functions such as coolant, engine oil and brake fluid levels for a fixed charge of just £8.

The New Year sees the launch of a 10 Minute Car Care Clinic at participating Chevrolet retailers to help owners of more than 200,000 Chevrolet and Daewoo cars in the UK ensure that their cars are ready to withstand the rigours of winter motoring.

Service technicians will carry out checks on the coolant level, including antifreeze protection, brake fluid, screenwash and engine oil, plus lights, tyres and wiper blades.

Any of the fluids checked that are found to be low will automatically be topped-up, while tyre pressures will be correctly set. If the wiper blades, lights or tyres themselves need further attention or replacement, owners will be provided with a cost estimate free of charge.

Only genuine Chevrolet approved parts and the correct grade of oil will be used in any remedial work required, which is carried out by Chevrolet-trained technicians using the latest tools and diagnostic equipment.

Improvements to the crash repair facilities offered by Chevrolet retailers are also being introduced across the UK through a new set of Approved Bodyshop Standards.

These are designed to reflect the changes in vehicle technology, construction and improvements in operating procedures, and will have to be met by every Approved Bodyshop in the vehicle manufacturer’s nationwide network.
