Sales record as Chevy marches onward!

5th April 2007 Print
More motorists turned to Chevrolet for their new ‘07’-registered car this year than ever before – and it’s easy to see why.

With a total of 3,042 cars sold, GM’s global brand enjoyed its best ever March new registration sales since it debuted in the British market in 2005.

Driven by great value, no-nonsense pricing, a practical and stylish model range and comprehensive equipment levels, Chevrolet’s sales boom shows that customers are placing more and more importance on value for money and a brand they can trust in an ever more competitive new car market.

The best performers in Chevrolet’s line-up were the perennially popular Matiz and the much-admired Kalos supermini, which now offers even more value for money thanks to the introduction of a new entry-level 1.2S five-door version for the 2007 model year.

And Chevrolet customers can expect to see the marque’s sales figures grow even further later this year, when the eagerly anticipated Captiva SUV arrives in showrooms in June.

Chevrolet UK’s managing director, Rory Harvey, said: “The sales increase shows that customer awareness of the Chevrolet brand in the UK is growing, and that people like what they see. We can’t wait to build on what we’ve started, initially with Captiva, and then with more new models as we look into the future.”

Orders are already being taken for Captiva, which builds on Chevrolet’s reputation for great value with a starting price of just £16,995 on-the-road. Available with a choice of five or seven seats and with petrol or diesel engines, Captiva offers everything – and more – for the budget conscious family motorist.
