Berkeley Homes sponsors Billingshurst garden fair

Berkeley Homes is proudly sponsoring the 8th annual New Horizons St Catherine’s Garden Fair for the second year running on Thursday 20th May at Summers Place in Billingshurst.

Organisers have planned a fun filled day out in the beautiful grounds of the stunning Grade II listed Manor House, to raise money for New Horizons St Catherine’s Hospice.

Starting with an exclusive VIP Breakfast preview from 8am, the official opening will take place by BBC Radio gardening expert Jean Griffin, who will also host two gardening forums. There will be a cook’s forum hosted by local chef, James Middleton Burn, and in addition, there will be over 60 stalls offering specialist plants, trees, shrubs, gardening accessories, pots, ornaments, livestock, local produce and suppliers of beer, wines, cheese, honey, chickens and ducks, and much, much more.

With around 700 attendees last year, Berkeley Homes and St Catherine’s Hospice are confident that this year will attract even more visitors, eager to participate in a great day out in a stunning setting and to raise money for a good cause.

General admission is £3 and admission to any forum is £2. Visitors will have the opportunity to view Berkeley Homes exclusive Summers Place development and beautiful Show Homes, as well as enjoying a preview of Summers Place Auction statuary sale. The VIP Breakfast is by ticket admission only, costing £12.50 and is available from Paula Daly, email pauladaly@stch.org.uk. VIP Breakfast ticketholders will have an exclusive preview and opportunity to buy goods before the gates open mid morning.

There is free parking at Summers Place, bus stop 101, Compass Buses and refreshments will be served all day. All money raised goes direct to St Catherine’s Hospice as the event is organised by the volunteers of the New Horizons Appeal.
