Barton Mayor helps Redrow launch new housing collection

Mayor of Barton Councillor Ann Clark officially opened Redrow’s new show home at Fox’s Fold. The Mayor cut the ribbon to launch the New Heritage Collection in Barton-upon-Humber during an event attended by local estate agents, solicitors and other property professionals from the area.
Councillor Clark was the first of the guests to look inside the ‘Stratford’ fully furnished show home and ‘Cambridge’ view home and gave the designs her seal of approval.
Councillor Clark said: “The new Redrow homes are excellent and enjoy a sense of style that we had lost for a while. I think they are beautiful and the quality of workmanship is clear for all to see. It’s fantastic to see character coming back into new-build homes. They have an extra touch of class.”
Patsy Aicken, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said: “We were delighted that Mayor of Barton Councillor Ann Clark was able to join us as we celebrated the opening of the new homes at Fox’s Fold.
“Redrow is very proud of the New Heritage Collection, which marks a return to the company’s roots of building family homes that people want to live in. The look of the homes is heavily influenced by the traditional designs that emerged from the Arts and Crafts movement of the 1920s and 1930s. But while the elevations and the close attention to detail are reminiscent of the past, the interiors are completely modern. It’s an enviable combination that sets Redrow apart.”
A three-bedroom New Heritage Collection home at Fox’s Fold could be yours from £149,995; while a four-bedroom ‘Stratford’, similar to the show home, is priced from £169,999.
Set in the heart of historic Barton-upon-Humber, Fox’s Fold enjoys a sense of community spirit that comes with small town living. It also benefits from excellent motorway links, making Hull, Leeds, York and Doncaster easily accessible.
To see the beauty of the new homes for yourself, visit Fox’s Fold in Tofts Road, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
