The island of Guernsey’s most famous hotel, the iconic St Pierre Park, has been awarded a prestigious 4-star rating by the AA.

Set in acres of beautiful parkland and gardens on the outskirts of Guernsey’s capital St Peter Port, the St Pierre Park has recently been extensively refurbished in a £ multi-million project, with all 131 bedrooms and bathrooms upgraded to a contemporary, high standard.

The AA accolade is the second such award for the St Pierre Park, coming hot on the heels of a 4-star award for the hotel by the island’s tourist board, Visit Guernsey.

On hearing confirmation of the 4-star grading, General Manager Dina Le Lacheur said: “This is a wonderful start to our holiday season here on the island, and is a great reward for all the hard work put in by the team here at St Pierre Park.

“Our forward bookings are strong, and this award gives us even more confidence to attract increased numbers of visitors to holiday and come to do business in Guernsey”, she added.

Travellers who wish to stay at St Pierre Park will have many options for their journey, with budget flights from a 10 UK airports, and three ferry routes from the south coast. Three-night “Guernsey Escape” breaks at the St Pierre Park this year cost from £327 per couple, including evening meals. The hotel also offers a two-night Spa & Golf Break from £225 per couple, a two-night Celebration Break from £198 per couple, and a two-night Spa Break from £130 per person.

The St Pierre Park also appears in leading tour operators’ brochures, including Premier Holidays, Preston Holidays and Channel Islands Travel Service.
