The sleek and beautiful new GS-60 bagless vacuum cleaners from Bosch revolutionise the way bagless models look and perform.
The BGS6220GB Power, the BGS6225GB Pet Hair and Carpet and the BGS6235GB Ultra-Automatic are ultra-sleek, ultra-stylish modern designs with top-class features such as unique SensorBagless technology, powerful motors, redesigned accessories, unique airflow technology and a new low level of quiet operation. All the models have powerful 2,200W motors.
“Our engineers have looked at the problems of traditional bagless cleaners, such as loss of suction, average performance and uninspiring looks, and have come up with what we believe is the ultimate bagless range; great looking models that keep on performing after others have given up,” said BSH consumer products sales director Ian Nicholson.
The key to the range’s outstanding overall performance is Bosch’s exclusive new RobustAir system, which uses high-quality filtration, unique airflow technology and intuitive design for excellent results in even the toughest tests.
Each model’s large-diameter inlet hose avoids clogging, while unique SensorBagless technology contantly measures airflow to give unbeatable suction. This means excellent dirt pick-up, while still being energy efficient and one of the quietest bagless cleaners available.
High performance GORE filters have a large active filtration surface to ensure maximum performance for the whole life of the cleaner - without ever having to clean or replace it.
“Ordinary bagless systems trap dust deep inside the filtration system. This can’t be removed and eventually clogs the filter and reduces airflow,” explained Ian Nicholson.
“Fine particles that reach the motor can cause overheating and wear mechanical parts. The GORE membrane in our new models stops particles at the surface, eliminating the problem and allowing maximum airflow.”
For minimum maintenance, the Pet Hair and Carpet and the Power models have a RotationClean function, while the Ultra Automatic has automated self-cleaning.
The high-grade double-HEPA rated filtration system – both the GORE filter and the exhaust filter are HEPA-rated for maximum effect – extracts 99.97 per cent of dust and particulates from the air: so the air that comes out of the machine is far cleaner than the air that goes in!
Once dust gets into the cleaner it only gets out when you want it to. The larger than average three-litre dust capacity container remains sealed until you reach the dustbin. It’s easy to remove and empty and can be washed under running water.
And there is much more: each model has four wheels for extra manoeuvrability, an ergonomic handle for easy carriage, an adjustable floor tool, onboard crevice and upholstery tools, parking and storage aids, a telescopic metal tube (so every user can achieve the perfect working height), variable suction rates, an automatic cut-out if the dust container is missing and an extra-long, 11 metre operating radius. The Pet and Hair and Ultra Automatic models also include a turbo brush for perfect pet hair pick-up and extra-deep cleaning.
