History in pictures at Falcon Heath, Dunholme

Miller Homes East Midlands is set to launch an exhibition of photographs linked to a Lincolnshire hotel that was well known on the celebrity circuit.
The Four Seasons Hotel once stood on the site of the award-winning housebuilder’s exclusive Falcon Heath development in the historic village of Dunholme. The venue was renowned for performances from celebrities taking a break from playing to packed Skegness theatres during the 1970s and 1980s.
Miller Homes decided to launch a region-wide search for photos after several former Four Seasons workers decided to set up home at Falcon Heath.
Paul Walters, Sales Manager at Miller Homes East Midlands, will officially open the exhibition on Saturday 29 May at 12.30pm and he will be joined by former owners of the Four Seasons Hotel, Joan and Dennis Hall.
Paul commented: “The hotel still holds many happy memories for people across the region, so we thought it would be a fitting tribute to hold an exhibition.
“We had an overwhelming response to our search and it’s been fascinating looking through all of the old pictures. It’s great that Joan and Dennis are able to join us to unveil the exhibition in our sales centre, allowing everyone else to share in the memories.”
Mr and Mrs Hall owned the hotel for 17 years during its heyday in the 1970s and 1980s before moving out to Wragby, Lincolnshire.
Dennis Hall added: “Joan and I were thrilled when Miller Homes told us about the planned exhibition and we donated some of our own pictures. We always look back fondly at our time at the Four Seasons and it’s great that so many people will be able to get a glimpse into the history of the area that they’re now living in.”
