Motorexpo huge hit both sides of the USA – next stop London

Over the past 14 years the unique free to visit format of the Motorexpo has seen the event develop to become a major fixture on the global automotive calendar and last week saw the first ever Los Angeles event produced in the heart of the City’s downtown business district.
Vehicles from Aston Martin, Audi, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ducati, GMC, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Lotus, Spyker and Volvo; were displayed throughout the relaxed, landscaped setting of the Bank of America Plaza, giving visitors unrivalled access to many of the latest cars and motorbikes. Highlights included a number of test drive opportunities as well as the North American debut of the Lamborghini LP570-4 Gallardo Superleggera. During the show all exhibitors’ marked substantial sales lead generation figures with a number claiming nearly double that of their projected targets for the week and as a direct result of this success the dates for the Los Angeles Motorexpo have now been confirmed for the next five years and beyond.
With Los Angeles complete, from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th June the 2010 London Motorexpo will welcome an anticipated 400,000 visitors to the Canary Wharf estate. Vehicles from many of the world’s leading manufacturers such as BMW, Infiniti, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lexus, Mazda, Mini and Skoda will be displayed throughout the indoor and outdoor public spaces of London’s premier financial district along with a special Le Mans exhibition, celebrating the historic race’s glorious past and present, produced in association with BEN, the events official automotive charity partner. A number of headline grabbing vehicles will be on display at this summer’s London Motorexpo for the first time anywhere in the UK – full event details are set to be announced very soon.
Graeme Carver, Motorexpo Managing Director said; “The Motorexpo’s format is completely free for the public to attend and gives motor manufacturers a low cost and direct access to their target audiences. First developed in the UK, our successful expansion into North America proves that what we offer to our exhibitors is a unique opportunity and importantly one in which they can see a direct return on their investment. We look forward to working with all our exhibitors at the 15th annual London Motorexpo and bringing the event home to Canary Wharf!”
