Parkopedia.com updates iPhone app

24th May 2010 Print

Parkopedia.com, the world’s leading parking information provider, has released the latest update for their popular iPhone app, AA Parking.

Version 1.3 was developed largely as a result of customer feedback and suggestions on the previous versions. The update now features information on several hundred new car parks as well as incorporating a trial of pay & display street parking, something that was not available on the earlier versions.

The iPhone app was created in conjunction with the AA to assist drivers with the most common parking queries: Where can I park, how much is it going to cost and is the space available now? The app features information on a wide variety of parking spaces, from official NCP car parks, and council car parks to street parking.

The new 1.3 version will be available as a free upgrade to those who have already purchased the original app since its launch last month.

“Our database on parking information is constantly changing and growing”, commented Christina Onesirosan Martinez, Marketing Director at Parkopedia.com. “We want to make sure that all of our customers always have not just the latest but also the most comprehensive parking information available when they need it.”
