British Car Auctions picked up one of the headline awards at the Fleet World Honours ceremony held at the RAC Club in London on 18th May.

BCA won the Internet Award in the 2010 Fleet World Honours for its new generation website and web-based marketing services.  It’s the third year running that the company has won the Internet award from the Fleet World Group.

BCA secured the Internet award for the wide-ranging E-marketing Solutions it delivers for its customers from the company website.  Using a variety of cutting edge online marketing tools, BCA keeps its buyers in touch with its huge vehicle sales programme across 21 UK centres.

Fleet World Editor Steve Moody and Nigel Davies, Sales & Marketing Director of award-sponsors Auto Windscreens presented the trophy to BCA Director Keith Rogers.

Chairman of Judges Steve Moody said: ‘BCA’s new website contains a wealth of usefully clear and concise information, as well as everything a remarketer or buyer might need at their fingertips, including access to Live Online auctions, details of cars and vans for sale, information on all its partners’ sales and instant access to account details.’

BCA’s website dominates in the vehicle auction and remarketing sector, with a commanding 54% market share of all UK site traffic according to independent analysts Hitwise  (January 2010).
