Redrow is celebrating a bumper weekend after more than 100 visitors flocked to its newly launched show homes near Swansea.

The New Heritage Collection show homes, at Awel-y-Mor, in Birchgrove, proved a huge hit with five properties being sold already.

The homes – professionally styled and furnished by a team of interior designers - combine ‘Arts and Crafts’ inspired exteriors with bright, modern interiors.

Redrow believes that the properties are so popular with potential buyers because their traditional appearance is evocative of the homes people grew up in.

“We were overwhelmed with the success of these show homes opening,” said Rachael Davies, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (South Wales).

“The homes are ideal for family life as they provide space to grow, as well as being very easy to maintain. This is always a bonus when you have a young family as it gives you the luxury of enjoying time with your loved ones, rather than spending your spare time doing the endless round of jobs that are often required in an older property.

“We also believe the homes are reminiscent of houses that people grew up in, combined with the ultimate in spacious, modern living.”

Offering easy access to Swansea Marina and the stunning Mumbles and Gower coastline, people who settle at Awel-y-Mor can enjoy the best of both worlds as the development is also within easy reach of cosmopolitan Swansea.

The region also boasts excellent English and Welsh-speaking schools and benefits from a wide range of outdoor pursuits. And it’s close to excellent transport links including the M4 motorway.

Homes from the New Heritage Collection at Awel-y-Mor are currently priced from £124,995 for a two-bedroom mid-terrace to £319,995 for a four-bedroom detached home. Larger properties including the six-bedroom Hampstead will be featured in later phases.

Help is available to make owning one of these homes easier to achieve, including part exchange for those who have an existing property to sell. Part exchange is a hassle-free way to sell your house with Redrow effectively acting as a cash buyer for your old house so you can buy one of theirs.
