Whether your Nissan has a scratch, a scrape or is in need of a more serious repair, it’s always a good idea to hand it over to the experts. No-one knows how to look after Nissan models better than the company’s own approved repairers, and thanks to a new partnership with paint professionals BASF Coatings, the service on offer has never been better.

BASF Coatings has been chosen as the long term sole Preferred Paint Partner for the Nissan Approved Bodyshop Programme. Initially with a three year agreement in place, BASF Coatings has re-enforced its position as a Nissan partner at both local and European levels.

The benefit to Nissan drivers is an enhanced range of paint shop products available should they need a repair. Through the Nissan Approved Bodyshop Programme, a full range of automotive refinish products and services will be available from all franchised and independent Nissan approved repairers. These services will be offered via BASF Coating’s two premium brands, Glasurit and R-M, both world leaders in advanced automotive refinish paint technology with unrivalled experience in supporting vehicle manufacturer programmes in the UK.

BASF Coatings has a proud history of co-operation with Nissan, having supplied the car maker’s production lines around the world for many years, including the Sunderland Plant here in the UK since 2001.

Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd Managing Director, Paul Willcox comments: “Ensuring a quality customer experience throughout the ownership cycle is at the heart of everything we do. Offering the best possible bodyshop services is all part of providing a strong ownership package so we’re delighted to announce this new partnership with BASF Coatings.”
