iPad app for Meridian Sooloos Digital Media System

Meridian Audio have launched a new iPad App for their award-winning Sooloos Digital Media System, which is now available to download free of charge from Apple’s online iTunes Store.

Like the existing Meridian Sooloos iPhone and iPod Touch Apps, the iPad App connects to the Sooloos Digital Media System automatically through a Wi-Fi network, and transforms the iPad into an on-screen interactive interface and wireless controller. This allows owners to take full control of their device, thereby providing users with the capability to browse, store, manage, and play high quality audio, amongst other functions, from multiple zones around the home.

Key features of the Meridian Sooloos iPad App include:

Wi-Fi auto-discovery; 
Volume and mute controls; 
Full-screen cover art for current track; 
Browse by artist, genre, release date, import date, tags, and focuses; 
Multiple zone playback; 
Shuffle, Loop and Seek; 
Quick Search using on-screen keyboard; and 
The creation, loading, editing and saving of playlists.
