Visit the San Vito Martire festival on 14, 15 and 16 June in Polignano al Mare, Puglia this summer. The Feast of San Vito Martire is based around a large procession bearing the silver statue of the Saint. Highights of the festival include a boat procession on the Monday, midnight fireworks on Tuesday with plenty of music, dance, plus the film premier of Gianni Torres' Le Mamme di San Vito, plus lots of fantastic Italian open-air dining courtesy of the local butchers.
