Developer encourages community spirit in Hailsham
Taylor Wimpey, the leading developer behind The Grange development of property in Hailsham, is helping people get into the community spirit this summer – by supporting a series of fun charity events for local good causes during June.
On Saturday 12th June, the 1st Hellingly Brownies and Guides will be helping to pack customers’ shopping bags at Tesco in North Street, Hailsham, to raise funds for their 100th anniversary celebrations, and Taylor Wimpey has given the girls a head start in their fundraising with a £100 donation.
On Sunday 20th June, it’s the 2nd Hailsham Scouts’ turn to roll up their sleeves as they host a charity car wash at The Grange in Lundy Walk, off Hempstead Lane. The leading housebuilder will pay the lads £5 for every vehicle they clean between 11am – 4pm, with a minimum donation of £100 guaranteed.
The scouts, brownies and guides will also be at Hailsham Carnival’s Lark in the Park event on Saturday 19th June, helping out at Taylor Wimpey’s wonderful wildlife stall of small animals and creepy crawlies. Families can come along and handle the cuddly – and not-so-cuddly! – creatures between 12 noon and 5pm, in exchange for a discretionary donation towards the youngsters’ fundraising campaigns.

Prices for the properties currently available ranging from just £204,995 for a three-bedroom semi-detached house to only £289,995 for a four-bedroom detached house.
The Grange Sales Centre is located at Woodholms Farm in Lundy Walk, off Hempstead Lane, Hailsham, and is open seven days a week from 10.30am to 5.30pm.
