Renault Modus provides ‘Liberty’ from service cost worry

2nd February 2006 Print
Renault Modus With sales of over 10,000 last year alone, Renault’s funky Mini-MPV, Modus, looks set to attract even more admiration with the introduction of the Renault Liberty Service Plan, which offers retail customers a value-for-money package covering all routine servicing costs, for a one-off payment of just £100, saving up to £575.

The convenient Renault Liberty Service Plan is available to all retail customers ordering a Modus who are looking for a hassle-free ownership experience. The plan will cover all routine servicing, which must be carried out at a franchised Renault dealer, for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first, for a one off payment of just £100 including VAT offering peace of mind and excellent value for money on running costs.

The plan includes labour, as well as all parts, oils and fluids as detailed in the official Renault service schedule. For extra peace of mind, customers also have the option to upgrade to the full Liberty Service and Maintenance Plan for an additional £400, which covers their Modus for wear and maintenance items not included in the £100 option, such as tyres, brake pads and wiper blades.

The type of savings a customer could make over three years, based on a Modus 1.5 dCi 68 on a 12,000 or one-year service schedule would be as much as up to £575 including VAT, taking the worry away when servicing intervals arrive.

The Liberty Service Plan is on top of a three-year warranty package with two years unlimited mileage followed by a further one-year of cover up to 60,000 miles, guaranteed paintwork for three years, anti-corrosion warranty for 12 years and a comprehensive Renault Assistance plan which covers the owner 24 hours, seven days a week. All of which are automatically provided to customers when they purchase their Renault.

Modus is available now in a choice of three petrol engines, the 1.2 16V 75, the 1.4 16V 98 and the 1.6 VVT 111 (available as an automatic), and three diesel engines, dCi 68, dCi 86 (available with Quickshift 5) and the powerful dCi 106. There are six trim levels on offer, Authentique, Expression, Oasis, Dynamique, Privilège and the luxurious, range-topping Initiale, with a list of standard equipment that continues to impress.

Prices start from £9,145 for the Authentique 1.2 16V 75 rising to £15,350 for the Initiale dCi 106 six speed.
