Home buyers in North Lincolnshire enjoyed an afternoon of entertainment as they helped Redrow celebrate its New Heritage Collection.

Designs from the collection, which combines traditional exteriors with modern interiors, are now available at Fox’s Fold, in Barton upon Humber, and Kirk’s Paddock, Grimsby.

Patsy Aicken, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), said: “The New Heritage Collection combines the best of old and new. To reflect this we held an event that had a nod to the past. Kingsway Printers Cleethorpes Band performed at Fox’s Fold, where ice cream was available from a traditional ice cream tricycle; while visitors to Kirk’s Paddock enjoyed a tasty barbecue with music and entertainment from the Compass FM radio roadshow.”

One lucky visitor to Kirk’s Paddock won £500 in a free prize draw, promoted by the radio station.

There was a balloon modeller and magician at each venue to keep children entertained.

Influenced by the Arts and Crafts era, the New Heritage Collection is a premium housing product, with many external features reminiscent of one of the most popular and enduring of British architectural styles.

Between Fox’s Fold and Kirk’s Paddock there are four professionally designed and decorated view and show homes, with expertly landscaped gardens, available for viewing.

External features which typify the Arts and Crafts era – and can be seen in varying degrees at Fox’s Fold and Kirk’s Paddock – include dropped eaves, projecting plinths, bays and other distinctive window styles, often with leaded lights.

Behind the traditional exteriors hides a contemporary interior specification, featuring convivial open plan living spaces, fashionable kitchen designs with floor to ceiling units, central islands and top brand name appliances, plus bathrooms that are sleek, modern and pleasing to the eye.

At Kirk’s Paddock, off Caspian Crescent, in the Scartho Top area of Grimsby, there’s a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes available, priced from just £114,950. Three and four-bedroom homes are currently on the market at Fox’s Fold, off Toft’s Road, in Barton upon Humber, from £134,999.

“Visitors who came to the developments for the event showed a keen interest in the new homes,” Patsy commented. “Those with a home to sell were delighted to discover that Redrow can help them move up the property ladder by offering part-exchange or Mastermove."

Part-exchange sees Redrow acting as a ‘cash buyer’ for a customer’s existing property.

With ‘Mastermove’ the award-winning house builder will arrange valuations for the customer’s old home, appoint an estate agent and monitor their performance on a regular basis; Redrow will even pay the estate agent’s fees at the end of the day.

To see the New Heritage Collection for yourself, visit the show homes at Fox’s Fold or Kirk’s Paddock.
