Drive-in for perfect summer nights with Renault’s Megane Summer Movies Festival

A sleek, elegant convertible perfect for summer motoring combined with watching a classic movie for free sounds too good to be true but Renault’s Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet is making it a reality with the Mégane Summer Movies Festival.

Renault is celebrating summer in conjunction with Channel 4, with a Festival reviving an iconic favourite entertainment past-time of days gone by, the drive-in movie, by showing a selection of ten classic movies such as Pulp Fiction, Moulin Rouge and American Beauty, at four spectacular venues across the UK. What better way to spend a summer evening than watching the big screen from the comfort of your own car, listening to the sound directly on your radio!

The Festival will travel to Birmingham (Weston Park) on 22nd and 23rd July, then Manchester (Arley Hall) on 29th and 30th July, followed by Brighton (Brighton Racecourse) on 5th and 6th August, finishing in Edinburgh (Hopetoun House) on the 12th and 13th August.

Entry to the event is completely free courtesy of Renault. To obtain tickets, all you need to do is log on to channel4.com/meganemovies and fill in a simple online form. One entry per person per car registration is available and there will be a selection of Mediterranean food and drink to match the hot summer night theme to buy on the night.

Not only that, in a special VIP draw the Wednesday before the weekend’s event, ten lucky pairs of people who have registered online will be chosen win a ‘golden ticket’ to that weekend’s film of their choosing!

VIP winners and their guest will be ‘upgraded’ to the front row to watch the movie in superior comfort and luxurious style in a Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet. They’ll also be treated to food and drink vouchers, a DVD of that evening’s film as well as a goodie bag packed with gifts from Renault and Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet.

Each event starts at 7pm leaving plenty of time to enjoy the delicious luxury food stalls complete with hot BBQ before the film starts at 9pm.
