Aer Lingus has been rated second out of 18 European Airlines in a recent customer airline satisfaction survey by consumer watchdog website, Which.co.uk.

According to the report, flying with good quality airlines such as Aer Lingus, can really make a difference to your holiday.

Aer Lingus was awarded an overall customer satisfaction score of 71%, just one percentage point away from topping the poll. "Which" surveyed 5,745 customers on their satisfaction levels with all the main European carriers, including British Airways, Lufthansa, KLM and Swiss, amongst others.

Customers were asked questions in a number of categories such as value for money, cabin staff, seating arrangements, baggage allowance, cleanliness, leg room and dealing with delays - with Aer Lingus receiving top marks.

Aer Lingus' Director of Communications Declan Kearney said, "We are delighted that customers have rated us in the top two airlines in Europe. This is testament to Aer Lingus' winning combination of great value fares and excellent customer service."
